How to Mingle with Nudists Without Feeling Awkward — from a Non-Nudist Who Has Been Around Hundreds of Naked People
🍑 Isn’t life exciting? 🍆☺️
Have you ever woken up and asked, “Hmm, will I accidentally crash a nudie party today?”
Never, right? Because what’s the chance of it happening?
Except that happened to me. Twice in two years!
First, in Switzerland in the summer of 2021. A friend had said to me and my husband, “Come hang with our group this weekend.”
Little did we know that the location was Werdinsel in the river Limmat, Zurich’s popular nudist area.
I had never seen hundreds of naked bodies sunbathing, swimming, and having fun!
Even if my husband and I remained clothed, we found the experience eye-opening and fascinating. But I admit, I felt overdressed in my bikini. 😆 👙
Second, in France this summer. We were invited to a small-group dinner. When we arrived, there were two naked people: A mother and her 20-something-year-old son.
Naturism (or nudism) — the practice of going nude, especially in places that allow mixed-gender groups, often in the belief that such practices benefit health. (dictionary.com)
