I Can’t Put into Words How Much I Love Tiny Desk Concerts, so I Used YouTube Comments to Describe Them to You

The second one is surprisingly good.

If there’s one YouTube channel I visit almost daily, it’s NPR Music. It has one of the best musical curations across genres.

I LOVE their Tiny Desk concerts. If you’re not familiar with the concept, picture this:

🎶 Tiny desk in a small room. Intimate, sardine-like audience. Musical acts perform 15- to 20-minute sets behind the desk. With only their voices, instruments, and sometimes backup singers. 🎶

No autotunes, overproduction, or dancers. Artists from different genres — unknowns to big names — aren’t merely performing. They’re having fun and it’s contagious.

With hundreds of videos to choose from, it’s hard to pick favorites. But here’s my current playlist, with each video described by the best YouTube comment I could find.
